In the third semester, students are required to write a final dissertation (between 15,000 and 20,000 words), corresponding to twenty-seven (27) European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits.
Final dissertation’s topics shall aim to address real problems in specific organisations of the students’ choice. In this context, students seek collaboration with a business with a view to undertaking the resolution of specific business needs (e.g. the development of a strategic plan, a business plan, an investment-specific business plan, an online staff training programme, a digital marketing campaign, etc.).
The final dissertation provides students with the opportunity to work in practice on a topic of their own choice and to develop their ability to analyse and evaluate contemporary issues in Business Administration with a view to improving organisational practice. Developing written communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to address the challenges encountered in their professional activities with professionalism also constitute an integral part of the overall process.
