Are the courses delivered exclusively online?
Yes. All courses are delivered 100% online through synchronous distance learning.
How often are classes held?
Classes are held every Friday from 17:00 to 20:50 and every Saturday from 09:30 to 15:20.
How many times will I need to travel to Kavala during my postgraduate studies?
During your studies, you will need to travel to Kavala only twice: once during the winter semester for the examinations of three courses (from Friday to Sunday) and once during the spring semester for the examinations of three courses (from Friday to Sunday). All other courses are assessed through assignments and/or other assessment methods.
Will I need to purchase textbooks for my courses?
No. Course instructors provide postgraduate students with comprehensive teaching materials (lecture notes). In addition, they recommend or provide supplementary resources from open-access databases. For students living near Kavala, the University Library offers access to a wide range of up-to-date books available for loan. Therefore, only in exceptional cases will you need to purchase textbooks.
What is the tuition fee for the Programme?
The tuition fee for the Programme is € 4,000.
What is the duration of the Programme?
- Full-time study: Three semesters (from October to November of the following year).
- Part-time study: Five semesters (from October to November of the second following year).
When are the tuition fees payable?
The tuition fees are payable in either three (3) or six (6) equal instalments, as follows:
Full-time students (three equal instalments):
- 1st instalment: Upon enrolment.
- 2nd instalment: At the beginning of the second semester.
- 3rd instalment: Before commencing the Master’s thesis.
Part-time students (six equal instalments):
- 1st instalment: Upon enrolment.
- 2nd instalment: At the beginning of the second semester of the first year of study.
- 3rd instalment: At the end of the second semester of the first year of study.
- 4th instalment: At the beginning of the first semester of the second year of study.
- 5th instalment: At the beginning of the second semester of the second year of study.
- 6th instalment: Before commencing the Master’s thesis.
What are the main admission criteria for the Postgraduate Programme?
A key criterion is the willingness to acquire knowledge, learn, and develop. A good academic performance in the first-cycle degree is, of course, assessed positively, while knowledge of a foreign language at least at B2 level is also required. Finally, priority for admission is given to applicants with at least three years of professional experience.

Are the courses of this Postgraduate Programme a repetition of undergraduate courses, as is often the case in other postgraduate programmes?
No. The instructors are aware that they are addressing people who wish to take one step further and acquire substantive, yet applicable, academic knowledge.

Is the completion of a Master's thesis mandatory?
Yes. During the third semester of your studies, you are required to complete a Master’s thesis. This is not a purely research-oriented thesis; rather, it focuses on addressing real-world challenges faced by businesses. You may conduct a study of an organisation, develop a business plan, or carry out a strategic analysis of the company you work for or simply of a company of your choice.
What is the language of instruction?
Lectures and examinations are conducted in Greek. The recommended bibliography may be in Greek or English. The Master’s thesis may also be written in English, only at the request of the student.
